First Sunday After Christmas

This Sunday we celebrate the First Sunday after Christmas. In this Sunday’s reading we hear from Luke’s Gospel about the infant Jesus’ visit to the temple and his encounter with Simeon and Anna.

Just a reminder that we have some great resources for families to help encounter the lesson and teaching of the Sunday Gospel reading available in the Sunday parish email. Sign up to receive these emails here.

This Sunday there is no video from me this Sunday. I do encourage everyone to check out the diocesan service for this Sunday. You can watch this service online beginning at 10am at the link below.

I am looking forward to recording a service for Epiphany which we will celebrate next Sunday.

I do hope you were able to receive some joy over Christmas. This year has been a difficult one and all the restrictions have kept us from being able to be with each other.

I do feel blessed by your support and the support of our parish family. I know we are all praying for better times in the coming months.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you, and thank you so much for your continued support of the ministry and mission of St. George’s.

Be Well and God Bless.
Peace,

The Rev’d Canon Rob Park
