Alleluia, Christ is Risen!
These are many times when I find reassurance in the frank and honest truth.
I guess it is because I want to know where I stand and how stable is the ground beneath my feet. Even when the future is uncertain, knowing exactly where I am now can give me confidence and encouragement that it is alright to lift up one foot up to take the next step, knowing truthfully if the foot that isn’t moving is going to be alright.
When you are amidst the uncertainty, knowing truth is more valuable than gold.
My sermon this morning is about the importance of knowing truth in the face of uncertainty and is based on the reading from John’s Gospel chapter 14, verses 1 to 14. (Read the Gospel Reading and all the readings assigned for this Sunday by following this link.)
And a Happy Mother’s Day to all!
Be Well and Peace,
