Alleluia! Christ is Risen!
This is the sixth Sunday since we begun suspending services and gatherings at St. George’s.
It is hard to put in words exactly what that has been like, because there is no experience to really to compare what we are going through to. I know we will get through this, but it is hard to look ahead and see what it will look like.
We are in the middle. The transition. We have left the way things were and we are heading toward they way things will be, but for now we are in the middle, faced with a whole bunch of uncertainty.
It is not easy.
But what I am certain of, is that our faith in Jesus Christ gives us something we can hold on to. Our faith will help us through by providing us with a guide and principles by which to make choices which help keep us headed in the right direction. Even if we are not exactly sure where that will be.
Good things will happen if we keep God with us.
The gospel reading that the message is based on and all this Sunday’s readings can be read here.
Also, be sure to check out our diocesan Facebook page and YouTube page for more live-streamed and recorded liturgies from Bishop Susan Bell.
Be well and God Bless you.
Yours in Christ,
The Rev’d Canon Rob Park
