Messy Church is moving to the second Friday of the month.

The Rev’d Nancy Rowe over Christmas and at the Pancake Supper had the opportunity to have conversations with a number of the families who have been finding it hard to attend. From these conversations it became apparent to Nancy that there are many activities all vying for the same day.

After speaking to several families and consulting with the volunteer Messy Church team, it was decided to try a new day, hopefully with less going on.

Starting in March, Messy Church will be gathering on the second Friday of the month. Nancy will work with the families and volunteers to re-evaluate this change in the fall.

And important part of this process was reaffirming how important Messy Church is to the faith life of everyone involved, Nancy said, “I was heartened to hear how much people value Messy Church.” She also noted that we would be trying a new time as well, 5:30pm – 7:30pm.

Our next Messy Church is Friday, March 9 at 5:30pm in the church hall.
