Harvest Celebrations this Sunday

We try to count our blessings everyday, but Harvest time and Thanksgiving are a time when worship and thanks are made extra special.

One way to make it special is to decorate our worship space in St. George’s with some of the symbols of the harvest. It adds to the beauty and helps to point our hearts to the Giver of all our gifts, God.

John Reaume made us this new box with the help of a town Sustainability Grant.

Another way to be thankful for our many blessings, especially of food, is to share with others. Along with the weekly eucharist to which Christ invites us, we are inviting folks attending worship services this Sunday to remember to bring non-perishable food items for the Georgetown Bread Basket. Our new donation box is in the front foyer.

Our Harvest celebration services are at 8am (Said and Traditional), 9:30am (Choir and Hymns) , and 11:15am (Contemporary, Church School, and Nursery).
