2014 Christmas Services

NativityChristmasChristmas Services are a great opportunity to sing together the carols of Christmas and to celebrate Jesus’ birth. At St. George’s, there are five different times when you can gather to sing and pray.

On Christmas Eve, at 5pm, we have a service that is geared for families and young children. We focus on singing carols and then an interactive telling of the story of Jesus birth. On Christmas Eve, at 7pm and 9pm, we have a traditional service with Carols, a Christmas Message, and Holy Communion.  And finally that evening, at 11pm, we have our most Traditional service with liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer. The 11pm service is a very peaceful and comfy service, that will take you back to your childhood memories of Christmas services past.

On Christmas morning at 10am, we have a celebration of Holy Communion with your chance to pick the Christmas Carols to sing. Here is your chance to pick your favourite or maybe that carol you hadn’t had the chance to sing yet this season.

There are plenty of opportunities for you to sing carols and celebrate the true reason for the season.
