I am please to invite all the people of Georgetown and area to Dementia Education series lead by the Hamilton and Halton Alzheimer Society. St. George’s hosted a “Circle of Friends” event in May and from the interest that was expressed there, we found a time to host this three day workshop.

This 3 session learning series builds a strong understanding
of Alzheimer disease and other dementias. We will discuss
topics such as: the different types of dementia, the resulting
changes in the brain, the latest developments in research,
planning for the future, and helping the person with dementia to
remain independent for as long as possible.
