Nursery Welcomes New Help

by Helen Vandermey

St. George’s has been pleased to welcome some new faces to the nursery since September.

Ashley who you have seen around the church for many years is now our new nursery caregiver. Her sister Jennifer will also fill in on occasion to give Ashley a chance to do other things (like take communion). Ashley and Jennifer have a wealth of babysitting experience and are doing an excellent job so far. We are also delighted to have the talents of 4 members of the Church School who will be care-giving assistants, giving us an extra pair of hands and eyes to ensure the care of our youngest members. These assistants are rotating throughout the month and we are grateful to them for volunteering for this most important ministry at St. Georges.

Parents, we welcome your youngsters from birth to aged 3 to our well-equipped nursery facility. We offer a crib and change table for your convenience as well as a rocking chair for feedings, if you wish a little privacy.

Our nursery is staffed during the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services, although your children are always welcome to stay with you in the church. Books and toys can also be borrowed into the church and returned at the end of the service.
