Congratulations to Helen Shannon, who recieved the Order of Niagara, on Sunday September 28, 2005. The service was held at Christ’s Church Cathedral in Hamilton and was presided by The Right Rev’d D. Ralph Spence, Bishop of Niagara.

Helen has been an active member at St. George volunteering formerly as a Warden and actively as a lay delegate to Synod, a member of the Altar Guild and the Bazaar Committee. She has also been active in the community in many ways including volunteering at the local Hospital. Helen was also active the Cursillo Community, both locally and in the diocese. Her kindness and caring shows in everything that she does.
